1975 Pimentel Special Grand Concert Walnut Classical Guitar in Albuquerque, NM

Created and signed 11/1/1975, by Master Lorenzo Pimentel, Founder of Pimentel Guitars, Albuquerque, NM. This is a replica of the Rosewood Grand Concert Classical Guitar, but is crafted of American Black Walnut, sides and back, and Southwestern Red Cedar, top. The neck is straight and true and it has wonderful tone.According to Master Rick Pimentel, son and current owner of Pimentel Guitars, if a guitar such as this were ordered from the firm, as of 06/22/2012, it would cost the buyer $2,700. If a guitar such as this could be found used in exceptional to perfect condition, it would cost the buyer $1,500. This guitar appears perfect, but it has two (2) FINE scratches in the back (you have to look for them) made apparently by a belt-buckle. It has been owned by a lady owner who's bestowed tender, loving care on it. Accordingly, the guitar is priced at $1,000.
